Sur une île isolée de l’hémisphère sud, un jeune officier de la marine britannique s’installe pour un an, avec comme seule mission d’échapper à la folie d’un monde qui vient de plonger dans la Première Guerre mondiale. Il comprendra cependant bien vite que l’île recèle un secret tout aussi mortel qu’étrange.
It’s back again! Fantasia International Film Festival returns, and there are many great movies to watch. There are a handful of animated films, a couple of Westerns (which I reckon will be wilder than the shootout at the Ok Corral) and more revenge films than there are drops of blood in my body.

Le savoir-faire et l’audace sont dans chaque recoin de The Endless, nouveau projet fou d’un duo d’enfer composé de Justin Benson et Aaron Moorhead, cinéastes, acteurs et scénariste, monteur et directeur photo, tout dépendant les capacités de chacun. Dommage toutefois qu’ils se font rapidement engloutir par leurs propres ambitions dans un film qui finit par tourner quelque peu à vide avant de devenir tristement trop familier.
De l’énergie propre. Abordable. En quantités illimitées. Sans danger. Dans le cadre du festival Fantasia, la réalisatrice Mila Aung-Thwin présente Let There Be Light, la quête d’une machine capable d’accomplir une réaction de fusion nucléaire. Et surtout, une réaction de fusion qui dégage plus d’énergie qu’elle n’en consomme…
